Last week, Bridges Together founder and executive director Andrea Fonte Weaver traveled to AARP’s national office in Washington, DC to attend “Conversation & Collaboration: How Intergenerational Approaches are Sparking New Solutions in Health, Wealth, and Self.” Invited as a thought leader in the intergenerational field, Andrea attended this day-long event that included three panel discussions as well as Q+A sessions.
The day included the following sessions: “Health Security: Improving Health Across the Generations,” “Financial Resilience: Bridging Educational Gaps with Key Learnings,” and “Personal Fulfillment: Maintaining Purpose & Meaning as You Age.”
What an honor for Andrea and Bridges Together to be represented in this group of other intergenerational thought leaders. We are pleased that “intergenerational issues” are gaining traction and are thrilled to be a part of a group that is leading the way!
Thank you, AARP, for the invitation and for taking initiative in the intergenerational field.
