On Friday, October 13, Andrea will be a panelist at the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA) Conference and Trade Show in Orlando. “The Intergenerational Imperative,” moderated by Lori Bitter, CEO of The Business of Aging, will explore the differences between “Boomers” and “Millennials” and how to develop understanding and unity.
From the program excerpt:
“While increased longevity has created more living generations than ever experienced in human history, headlines perpetuate a myth of generational angst between Boomers and Millennials. From workplace to aging in place, productive intergenerational relationships are vital. Hear the latest research. See projects/cases that promote harmony and understanding.”
The ICAA’s mission is to promote Active Aging as a solution to improving the quality of life for older adults. The ICAA has organized conferences and regional events for the past 14 years, successfully bringing together organizations interested in Active Aging for learning, sharing ideas and collaboration. The keynote speakers at the 2017 conference will be Dr. Andrew Weil and Dr. Richard Carmona. For more information about the ICAA Conference and Trade Show, please click here.
