Feedback from a volunteer

We love getting feedback from Bridges Together participants! And we’re so proud that it’s almost always positive, like this one from Liz:
…I had my first Bridges Stories group yesterday. It was so much fun, and a great success, I think. Myself and another senior volunteer had 5 first graders. The teacher read “Ferdinand the Bull” and in our small group we discussed our favorite stories. The children also asked their grandparents or elders what their favorite childhood book was.  Then we went on to make tissue paper flowers like the ones Ferdinand loved to smell.
The children were so attentive and responsive.  I have to say, for an after school program, I was surprised.
