Disneyland Paris signed an “Intergenerational Agreement” with its trade unions. By entering into this Agreement, Disneyland Paris pledges to hire 600 new employees by September 2016, 10.6% of whom must be 50 years of age and older. This agreement has three important objectives:
1) It seeks to establish lasting employment opportunities for young job-seekers.
2) It ensures that older workers continue to be offered meaningful employment.
3) Lastly, it facilitates the sharing of job skills and professional know-how between the “young and the young-at-heart.”
