For those who live and breathe “intergenerational,” the Generations United Global Intergenerational Conference will be the place to be. So of course Bridges Together will be at Generations Remixed, June 13-16 in Milwaukee! This is a global conference – those interested in intergenerational issues and research from around the world will be present to learn, share new ideas and network with others in the field. Generations Remixed is co-hosted by St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care, which Andrea visited while leading two days of workshops for Generations, an intergenerational community center in Wisconsin.
Andrea has been serving on the program planning committee for Generations Remixed, and now that the conference is quickly approaching, she is excited to be overseeing a poster session about Intergenerational Month (formerly called Intergenerational Awareness Month) as well as sharing about the Bridges Program Curricula Suite. In addition, Bridges Together will be receiving an award for the Bridges Program being designated a Generations United Program of Distinction!
The intergenerational movement is gaining momentum – big time – and Bridges Together is excited to play a part in it all. Stay tuned for dispatches from Milwaukee!
