Join us at a summit to learn about building age-friendly communities!

The Tufts Health Plan Foundation, in partnership with The Boston Foundation, will host a conversation on building age-friendly communities from 1 pm to 6 pm on March 18, 2015 at The Westin Waltham.

Building age-friendly communities is essential for our society to respond to the needs of a rapidly aging population. By design, age-friendly communities are inter-generational and multi-generational.

At the summit, thought leaders will discuss how using the World Health Organization’s standards for age-friendly cities can make a difference to community health, housing, transportation and the sundry needs facing people today. Respondents, experts and attendees will share thoughts about the use of data and resources, and explain how they are mobilizing partner coalitions to transform communities to become age-friendly.
