On October 7, 8, and 9, we will be participating in the annual Massachusetts Council on Aging (MCOA) conference, which this year will be held at the Sturbridge Host Hotel and Conference Center. As always, the program promises to be educational and invigorating.
Bridges Together Executive Director Andrea J. Fonte Weaver will be leading a session on Thursday, October 8 at 2:15 pm; the session is “Ideas for Effective Intergenerational Programs.” Here’s the description: Many senior centers have found creative and effective ways to include people of all ages, especially the communities’ youngest citizens. Come learn about some easy to implement programs and ways to get started in intergenerational programming.
You can register for the conference/program here.
While you’re at the conference, look for the main MCOA exhibit table– Bridges Together will be right beside it! We are very proud of our close association with MCOA and grateful for its support, which helps to make possible all of our professional development programs.
