MIT AgeLab hosting multigenerational summit on Nov. 2

The MIT AgeLab is seeking high school students who are interested in creating multigenerational connection with older adults. Research Associate Julie Miller and her colleagues are reaching out to high schools and senior centers/councils in/around Boston.  This is part of a larger initiative through the MIT AgeLab called OMEGA- Opportunities for Multigenerational Exchange, Growth, and Action.

MIT AgeLab logoThe MIT AgeLab is excited to host the first annual OMEGA Summit at MIT on November 2, 2014 from 10 am-2 pm. This will be an opportune time for students and senior center staff to work with- and learn from- peers and colleagues in other communities who have already established similar programs. This will also be a time for students to interface with senior center staff and kickstart and/or continue to plan for their partnerships. If you know any student(s) and/or volunteer coordinators at senior centers who may be interested in participating in the event and ongoing initiative, please email Julie Miller at omegamit@mit.edu or call her at 617-253-3506.
