Bridges Together is pleased to announce the winners of the Kraemer Intergenerational Story Contest, a continuation of a project of Intergeneration Foundation, led by Sandy F. Kraemer.
Thanks to the story-sharing platform Pass it Down, Bridges Together was able to collect entrants’ stories – all of which delightfully relayed a spectrum of intergenerational stories.
Three rounds of judging resulted in one grand-prize winner and three honorable mentions.
Congratulations to Marie Ballard on receiving the highest honor with her submission, Bathtub Cafe. Click here to read her prize-winning story.
Other winners include:
Eyes that See by Jerri Hardesty
The Red Bridge by Carolina Williams
The Flight of the Butterfly by Darcy Howell (click here to read the text to accompany Darcy’s artwork)
Thank you to everyone who entered submitted an intergenerational story as well as members of the Bridges Together Advisory Council and Board and colleagues at Intergeneration Foundation who served as judges. We had such fun reading all of them!
