Welcome to Lori Bitter and Eric Saunders, BT’s Newest Board Members

Bridges Together is pleased to announce that we have two new board members! Let us take the opportunity to introduce you to Lori Bitter and Eric Saunders.

Lori Bitter

Lori is Bridges Together’s first “remote” board member! Lori’s company, The Business of Aging, provides strategic consulting, research, and development for companies seeking to engage with mature consumers. She is the publisher of GRAND magazine (a BT membership co-sponsor) and is a sought-after speaker. Andrea and Lori met at an American Society on Aging conference and then got to know each other when Andrea sat on a panel at the International Council on Active Aging Conference and Trade Show, moderated by Lori. Here is what Lori has to say about joining the BT Board: “I have enjoyed getting to know Andrea and the work of Bridges Together and am delighted to join the board. My research and work in the grandparent market naturally lead me to explore multigenerational living, and I found the great work being done here. I look forward to learning, contributing, and spreading the word of the importance of an intergenerational life.” We are thrilled to have Lori – as well as her marketing expertise – join Bridges Together!

Eric Saunders

Eric Saunders has actually been a part of Bridges Together since March 2017, when he joined us as our bookkeeper. Eric is a retired CPA and past Director of Assurance Services at Marcum & Associates. Prior to joining BT, Eric served as the treasurer at the MetroWest Nonprofit Network. According to Eric, “I strongly believe in the value of Bridges Together’s trainings and programs. I’m looking forward to helping BT manage its growth through implementation of best practices and good governance.” We are so happy to have Eric continue to bring his financial knowledge and expertise in business practices to BT in this new capacity.

Bridges Together is actively seeking to grow our board. If you have an interest in serving on the board of a dynamic nonprofit (or know someone who is!), please contact Bridges Together board chair Michele Fisher at michelevfisher@gmail.com.
