Belmont World Film’s Family Festival celebrates the 60th anniversary of Weston Woods Studios, a pioneer in producing award-winning quality films for children based on best-loved children’s books, with a weekend-long event. Saturday features both classic and new films from the Weston Woods library, as well as a talk and book signing by renowned father-daughter team of Rebecca and Ed Emberley, the authors and illustrators of such children’s books as Chicken Little and The Red Hen. The celebration continues Sunday with another full day of film programs, plus free cake and live entertainment.
